Kodak launches the PLAYSPORT Zx5 BURTON Edition pocket Full HD video camera. The special edition camcorder is designed for people who love snow. The Zx5 features a 5 Megapixel CMOS sensor for capturing 5 Megapixel still images and recording Full HD 1080p video.

Samsung Galaxy R Z i9103 is Tegra 2 Version of the Galaxy S II
Samsung is launching in some markets its Galaxy R (aka Galaxy Z) i9103 smartphone, which is the little brother of the Galaxy S II. Instead of Samsung Exynos processor and Super AMOLED touchscreen, the Galaxy R gets NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz processor and SC-LCD touchscreen with 480×800 resolution, making it a more affordable option.

The Samsung i9103 has 1GB RAM, 2GB ROM and comes with a 8GB microSD card. It features a 4.2-inch touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, 1.3 Megapixel front camera, AGPS/GPS support, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi 802.11b/g/b connectivity and FM radio. The phone runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with TouchWiz 4.0, Swype input and Office suite. The Galaxy R comes with a 1650mAh battery.

Toshiba made its FOLIO 100 Android tablet official at the IDA 2010. The 10.1-inch FOLIO is a multimedia tablet device running Android 2.2 Froyo OS with Flash Player. It is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and has 16GB internal storage capacity.
The FOLIO 100 has a 10.1-inch capacitive multitouch display with 1024×600 pixels, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, SD/MMC card reader, DLNA support, accelerometer, mini HDMI port, USB 2.0 port and a 7-hour battery. The Android tablet supports Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi 802.11b/g/n.
Toshiba FOLIO 100 will be available in the UK in October for GBP329. A model equipped with 3G mobile broadband support will be released early next year.

Creative introduced at the IFA 2010 two new headphones, the lightweight, portable yet powerful HQ-1600 and the colorful HQ-1450 with pattern design.

Lenovo IdeaCentre A310 All-in-One PC Hits Japan

Lenovo brings the IdeaCentre A310 all-in-one desktop PC for consumers in Japan. The A310 shares the same design as the IdeaCentre A300 but packs a faster Core i3-350M processor with Intel HD graphics.
The IdeaCentre A310 gets 3GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive and a 7-in-1 card reader. It has a 21.5-inch 1920×1080 Full HD LCD display and a webcam. Bluetooth is also included. Two models will be available, one with Microsoft Office 2007 Personal and one without, both come in July.

Sony showed its multimedia shelf system called the WHG-SLK1 at the CES 2010. The slim system features a 9-inch LCD display and touch-sensitive buttons. It is compatible with iPhone and iPod for charging, playback and control. The WHG-SLK1 hsa built-in DVD player and is also to play music and video files from USB storage, Memory stock and SD cards.
Sony’s WHG-SLK1 offers 100W sound output and provides video in and video out.

TC Electronic introduces the PolyTune, the world’s first polyphonic tuner. Instead of tuning string by string, the PolyTune is able to tell you which strings need tuning as you strum all strings on your guitar or bass at once.
The reference pitch of the PolyTune can be set to your preference and ranges from 435Hz to 445Hz. The device offers also standard needle mode, two chromatic modes, and a real-time stream mode. It is priced at $99.

Philips showed at the CES 2010 its PET749 portable DVD player that comes with built-in TV tuner for receiving free-to-air TV. It has a 7-inch LCD display with 800×480 resolution and is compatible with DVD, DVD+/-R/RW and VCD, CD, CD-R/RW media.
The PET749 also supports playback of MP3 CD and DivX video as well as JPEG images. The built-in rechargeable battert offers up to three hours of video playback. To be released in March, the PET749 will be priced at $179.99.
