Active Media Products launches a new gold bullet-shaped USB flash drive with a rugged aluminum case. Comes in the shape of a 50-caliber bullet, the waterproof drive comes with a water-tight seal that will shield your data from the elements. The gold bullet drive includes steel keychain and clip for attaching the drive to a backpack or keyring.
Available in gold color only, ActiveMP’s bullet drive has 4GB of 8GB storage capacities.

Iomega announced the new eGo Charcoal portable hard drive that uses SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface. The drive has 500GB storage capacity and comes with Iomega Protection Suite software to protect your data.

Sony WHG-SLK1 iPod/iPhone Video Shelf

Sony showed its multimedia shelf system called the WHG-SLK1 at the CES 2010. The slim system features a 9-inch LCD display and touch-sensitive buttons. It is compatible with iPhone and iPod for charging, playback and control. The WHG-SLK1 hsa built-in DVD player and is also to play music and video files from USB storage, Memory stock and SD cards.
Sony’s WHG-SLK1 offers 100W sound output and provides video in and video out.

Korg Kaossilator Pro track-making tool

Korg announced the Kaossilator Pro, a track-making tool with live performance power. The new USB device features 200 Programs, including 15 effect programs; 8 Favorites for instant selection, 4 Loop Recording Banks, each with unlimited overdubs; 4 measures (16 beats) per bank, Gate Arpeggiator offers 31 scales in any key and sync’s to internal, MIDI, or Tap Tempo. There is a X-Y touchpad that lets users perform complex phrases with one finger.
Kaossilator Pro offers RCA stereo ins/outs; ¼” Mic input, ¼” headphone out, MIDI in/out, SD card slot and USB port. It comes with Editing, Librarian and MIDI Control software. The price is $399.
