Samsung Galaxy R/Z i9103 is Tegra 2-powered Galaxy S II

 

 

Samsung is launching in some markets its Galaxy R (aka Galaxy Z) i9103 smartphone, which is the little brother of the Galaxy S II. Instead of Samsung Exynos processor and Super AMOLED touchscreen, the Galaxy R gets NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz processor and SC-LCD touchscreen with 480×800 resolution, making it a more affordable option.


The Samsung i9103 has 1GB RAM, 2GB ROM and comes with a 8GB microSD card. It features a 4.2-inch touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, 1.3 Megapixel front camera, AGPS/GPS support, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi 802.11b/g/b connectivity and FM radio. The phone runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with TouchWiz 4.0, Swype input and Office suite. The Galaxy R comes with a 1650mAh battery.

 

Alcatel One Touch XTRA for Orange

Alcatel launches the One Touch XTRA mobile phone for Orange. The phone is an entry-level device with a side-slide QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen display. It comes with a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording and webcam capability, built-in MP3 player, FM radio with RDS and a microSD card slot.

While the Nexus One has just been released, A guy over at Mobile01 has posted two pictures that suggest to be Google’s Nexus Two. In fact the design of the device looks more like the successor to Motorola’s Droid/Milestone. Of course it is totally possible for Google to take the phone from Motorola and sell it as the Nexus Two, which is rumored to be getting QWERTY keyboard.

Satsports GPS – multi-sport all weather GPS Device

Satsports announced the Satsports GPS, the world’s “first truly multi-sport all weather GPS” that does true real time interactive navigation for skiing, snowboarding, golfing, running, cycling and automotive enthusiasts.

The Satsports GPS device is boosted by a 400MHz Samsung 2440A processor and runs Windows CE 5.0 OS. It has a SiRF Star III GPS receiver and a 2.7-inch LCD display. There are also a 1W speaker and a microSD card slot. The US$490 multi-sport GPS is pre-loaded with following navigation applications:

Nokia X3 supports Ovi Store and comes pre-loaded with the Guitar Rock Tour mobile game from Gameloft. It has 46MB internal memory and supports up to 16GB microSD. The X3 will come in Q4 2009 for about Euro 115.

Nokia X6 Touchscreen Phone

Nokia unveils its new X-series mobile phone and the first model introduced is the X6. At just 0.55-inch thick, the Nokia X6 features a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash and 32GB internal storage.

ou may consider the X6 as slim version of the XpressMusic 5800. It packs same S60 5th Edition OS and A-GPS support with Ovi Maps and compass. The phone supports WiFi (or WAPI in China), Bluetooth and microUSB connectivity. It works with HSDPA, WCDMA 3G, GPRS/EDGE networks. Dell's Android Smartphone: New Photos and Specs

We've mentioned Dell's rumored phone could hit China in very near future, and if legit, this info backs up the impression of the device being all-but ready. Specs could include a 3.5-inch display (640x360), GPS, MicroSD slot, and 3Mp camera.

These new pics look pretty real, and match what we've seen before. Seems like the Ophone mini3i (as China Mobile may call it), is looking increasing like a done deal.

T-Mobile Dash 3G is the HTC Snap

T-Mobile USA is going to launch in July the Dash 3G QWERTY smartphone, which is basically HTC’s Snap.The candy-bar style Dash 3G features full QWERTY keyboard, a trackball and a 2.4-inch color display. It supports GPS, WiFi 802.11b/g and high-speed 3G network. The phone runs Windows Mobile 6.1.

Samsung Omnia2 GT-i8000 Appears

After the OmniaHD, here is Samsung’s new Omnia2 GT-i8000 touchscreen phone that is the successor of the Omnia i900. The Omnia 2 features a 3.7-inch touchscreen display, and a 8.1 Megapixel camera with dual LED flash and VGA video recording capability.

Based on Qualcomm’s processor and chipset, the Omnia2 runs Windows Mobile 6.1 with the TouchWiz UI. The phone supports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3G/3.5G HSDPA networks. It has 150MB internal memory and a microSD card slot. Omnia2’s media player supports DivX and XviD video playback.
