ViewSonic VG2436wm-LED and VG2236wm-LED Eco-Friendly LED Displays

Viewsonic has just launches the VG36-LED Series environmentally friendly LED monitors to further its commitment to smarter, greener computing. Two models are available, the 24-inch VG2436wm-LED and the 22-inch VG2236wm-LED, both with a slim bezel profile. These LED-backlit displays feature Full HD 1920×1080 resolution and a 20,000,000:1 MEGA Contrast ratio.
The VG2436wm-LED and VG2236wm-LED comes with stand with 90-degree pivot, height adjustment of up to 5.4-inch, 360-degree swivel and tilt, and are VESA ready. ViewSonic’s monitors have Energy Star and EPEAT Gold certifications and offer an energy savings of up to 50%.
The ViewSonic VG2436wm-LED is available for $266 and VG2236wm-LED for $217.99.

Sony BRAVIA HX909 and LX900 3D HDTVs Now Shipping

The BRAVIA HX909 features Intelligent Dynamic LED backlight and has a Monolithic Design. It is internet-ready and supports BRAVIA Internet Video. The BRAVIA LX900, on the other hand, sports Edge LED backlight and comes with integrated WiFi connectivity for access the BRAVIA Internet Video platform. Both 3D HDTV series include BRAVIA Engine 3, Motionflow PRO 240Hz and OptiContrast panel.
Some models are available at Amazon, including the XBR-52HX909 for $3599.99 and the XBR-60LX900 for $4997.00.

Sony ships its BRAVIA HX909 series and LX900 series 3D LED-backlit HDTVs. The 52-inch XBR-52HX909, 52-inch XBR-52LX900 and 60-inch XBR-60LX900 are now available and shipping, and the smaller 46-inch XBR-46HX909 is now available for pre-order at SonyStyle. All these HDTVs are 3D-ready and offer Full HD 1080p resolution.

Mitsubishi LaserVue L75-A91 Laser HDTV

Following the 65-inch L65, Mitsubishi launches its new LaserVue L75-A91 75-inch laser HDTV that is 3D-Ready. According to Mitsubishi, the LaserVue HDTV is capable to deliver up to two times the colors of many of todays’ flat panel TVs. The L75-A91 features 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, the Plush1080p 5G 12-Bit video processing that converts lower-resolution signals to 1080p, Variable Smooth 120 Film Motion and integrated HDTV tuner.

The screen comes with an anti-glare, hard coating.

Verizon HTC Droid Incredible Android Phone Now Official

 Verizon officially adds the HTC Droid Incredible Android device to its Droid lineup. The Incredible is HTC’s latest Android device, which runs the Android 2.1 OS with HTC Sense UI, Friend Stream for unified Flickr, Facebook and Twitter updates and “Leap” view for quick access to all seven home screen panels.
Powered by Qualcomm SnapDragon 1GHz processor with 512MB RAM and 512MB ROM, the HTC Droid Incredible gets a 3.6-inch razor-shape 480×800 AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel camera with dual LED flash, an optical joystick for navigation, and dedicated touch-sensitive Home, Menu, Back and Search buttons. The phone features also integrated GPS, WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity, 3.5mm headset jack, proximity sensor, light sensor and digital compass.

Verizon Wireless will release HTC Droid Incredible on 29 April 2010 and the price will be $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

Panasonic VIERA G25, G20, S2, U2, C2 Series Plasma TVs

Other than the 3D-capable VIERA VT25 series, Panasonic presents also G25, G20, S2, U2 and C2 lines of Plasma TVs. All models are based on NeoPDP technology and get the 600 Hz Sub-field Drive.

First of all the VIERA G25 series is available in 54-inch (TC-P54G25), 49.9-inch (TC-P50G25), 46-inch (TC-P46G25) and 42-inch (TC-P42G25) screen sizes. They feature 1080p Full HD resolution, Infinite Black display with 5,000,000:1, THX certification and THX Movie Mode, VIERA CAST support and VIERA Image Viewer for playing back digital still JPEG images and AVCHD videos recorded on an SD Memory Card. The VIERA G20 series, including 54-inch TC-P54G20 and 50-inch TC-P50G20, shares the same features as the G25 series.

The S2 series is available in six screen sizes, 65-inch TC-P65S2, 58-inch TC-P58S2, 54-inch TC-P54S2, 50-inch TC-P50S2, 46-inch TC-P46S2 and 42-inch TC-P42S2. They have 1080p Full HD resolution, 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, anti-reflective filter, and Clean Touch bezel. The U2 series, 50-inch TC-P50U2 and 42-inch TC-P42U2, offers Full HD resolution as well. They both include VIERA Image Viewer for JPEG images viewing.
Lastly, Panasonic’s C2is a line of 720 Plasma HDTV consists of 50-inch TC-P50C2, 46-inch TC-P46C2, 42-inch TC-P42C2 models.

Sony showed at the Tokyo Digital Content EXP0 2009 a prototype of 360-degree 3D display. The device has 96×128 resolution and is able to display 24-bit colors. Sony suggests that the display can be used for 3D medical image visualization, virtual pet, 3D digital frame and even 3D TV.
