Kodak PLAYSPORT Zx5 BURTON Edition Video Camera

Kodak launches the PLAYSPORT Zx5 BURTON Edition pocket Full HD video camera. The special edition camcorder is designed for people who love snow. It is waterproof, and shockproof so no need to worry about carving through fresh powder or hitting a rail or hard pack in a terrain park. The Zx5 features a 5 Megapixel CMOS sensor for capturing 5 Megapixel still images and recording Full HD 1080p video.

The PLAYSPORT includes electronic image stabilization. It has a 2-inch LCD display and provides HDMI output for you to show images and HD videos on a bigger screen. It comes with 128MB internal memory and supports SD/SDHC memory cards up to 32GB. The BURTON-branded PLAYSPORT Camera bundle comes with an HDMI cable, remote control, 4GB SDHC memory card, a gripping tripod and carry case. It comes in Custom Blue for $199.95.

Pandigital ZINK Portable Photo Printer

Pandigital teamed up with ZINK to introduces its first photo printer based on the Zero Ink printing technology. The printer is called Pandigital Portable Photo Printer, which is the first Zero Ink 4×6-inch printer.
Like other ZINK-enabled printers, Pandigital’s offering does not need ink to printer. Instead, it uses the patented ZINK Paper, an advanced composite material with embedded yellow, magenta, and cyan dye crystals. The printer can print photos directly from memory cards and USB drives, without the need of a PC. It has a LCD display for previewing photos.

Pandigital’s ZINK printer will be released in Q1 2010.
