In fact, Esha Deol is so involved in the movie, that she is personally sitting on the editing and post production work. A source tells us, "Yes, Esha is taking keen interest in ’Tell Me Oh Khuda, so much so that people keep teasing her that she, like mum Hema, will turn director soon."

However, Esha maintains that younger sister Ahana is more inclined towards filmmaking than she is. With Ahana having been offered a movie, the tables may well turn in the Deol household, with Esha calling the shots one day, and Ahana getting into the act on the word ’Action’.

Tell Me Oh Khuda is supposed to be Esha’s Bollywood re-launch

Hema Malini’s film , Tell Me Oh Khuda, the one she had planned for her daughter Esha is finally in its pre-production stage.

Starring Arjan Bajwa opposite Esha, the film is about a girl who is on the search for her father. It bears too much resemblance to Hema Malini’s first and only film as a director, Dil Aashna Hai which was about a girl on the lookout for her mother and starred Divya Bharati and Shah Rukh Khan.

The film will be directed by Om Shanti Om’s dialogue writer and Dhoom’s associate director, Mayur Puri.

Arjan was thrilled to meet Hema Malini and was overjoyed when she said that she had liked his work in Fashion.

Tell Me Oh Khuda is supposed to be Esha’s Bollywood re-launch. The film will commence shooting from the end of this year.
