The comparisons to Oscar and Carolina are spot-on, but it is all the more meaningful after tonight's inauguration. After much speculation that Michelle would don one of the two go-to designers for uptown girls, she instead went with their Park Ave-worthy predecessor.
I can't wait to see what Obama will do for America, and I certainly can't wait to see what Michelle will do for the American fashion industry.
