It's spring break, which is wonderful, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed that my week away falls right in the midst of studying the pop art movement in my Context & Culture class. Going into college, I had very little knowledge of art history, and this professor has opened my eyes to a whole new world. Since taking this class, it seems that every magazine I pick up and every article I read references an artist, a piece, a movement that I previously knew nothing about.
Learning is so much more enjoyable when you know it will benefit your life in the long run. Must be why statistics class was always such a drag.
