When I woke up this morning to gloriously shining sun, I knew what my delightful day off had in store: lounging in the park for an afternoon of people (and dog!) watching and reading my new book of short stories. "Manhattan Monologues," a gift from the lovely Lux Lotus, was fittingly described to me as "Gossip Girl meets F. Scott Fitzgerald." Perfect.It was a fantastic day, from start to finish, and my red and blue attire fit my festive mood: a favorite ruffle-neck dress from Old Navy, a vintage scarf tied as a headband (brilliantly hiding my unwashed hair... shhh!), and my so-comfortable-it's-a-sin Coach sandals.
P.S. I'm having a bit of troubling mastering camera settings. Any advice for taking sharper outfit snapshots?
