After weeks away from the computer, I have finally—blissfully—been reunited with my laptop. I look forward to finishing my pile of homework so I can catch up with my many, many favorites, but in the mean time, I thought it would be fun to share a list of the websites I simply couldn't stay away from despite not having much internet access. This is by no means an exhaustive list of my favorite blogs, as my 1000+ rss feed so clearly shows. This is merely the short list of blogs that I could not function without checking daily during my time away from a computer. I would wear out my Blackberry trying to load these gorgeous web sites. I would go to the library at peak times and steal a computer from the streams of stressed-out students trying to study. I would borrow my roommates' laptops under the guise of "needing to check my e-mail," only to quickly click through this clique of bloggers.
cupcakes & cashmere: She wears stripes and sparkles and encrusts her PB&Js in holiday sprinkles (yum!).
little boat: Lexi's genuine personality shines through each smiling snapshot, and I'm already anxious for her tights-and-flats-focused fall ensembles.
bohemian bisoux: My fellow Mizzou Tiger has an adorable eye for style and fantastic outfit photos to boot (quite literally, the girl has great boots). I'm hoping to run into her on campus one of these days, but I anticipate feeling like a little fashion fan girl.
modern marie: My wardrobe and my iPod are forever grateful for this modern day Marie Antoinette's delightful posts.
cherry blossom girl: Her life is nothing less than a real fairytale, and Alix kindly shares this storybook-that-is-her-life with us. (See inside her dreamland in the photos above.)
These are all so much more than fashion blogs; they're charming glimpses into the lives of charming girls who happen to love fashion. It's more than reading a blog; it's like reading a book series of someone's life -- like The Princess Diaries or Gossip Girl. What are your absolute favorites?
