Swear to wear those cute sequin shorts and short, full skirts right now, even in the snow and ice (with a blazer and tights).
J. Crew's Style Resolution #3 could not be more timely. When I popped into the store at Houston's Galleria Mall last week, I fell for this impossibly adorable bright blue skirt despite it being entirely too springy for our current winter weather.
It was $40, and though I would have preferred the seasonless dark chambray shade, I loved the fit (and the pockets! and the price!) so much that I couldn't pass up it up and nabbed the last one in my size in this cheery color. Sadly enough, the skirt is nowhere to be found online. Come on, J. Crew, keep up.
