JVC launches the new Everio GZ-HM550 Full HD digital camcorder with built-in Bluetooth wireless connectivity that allows control of the camera using a smartphone, use with Bluetooth geo-tagging device and use with with Bluetooth headset.
The Everio GZ-HM550 features a 10.62 Megapixel Back-illuminated CMOS sensor for capturing 1920×1080p Full HD video and 9 Megapixel still images; and a KONICA MINOLTA HD LENS with 16x dynamic zoom. The new Everio camcorder features Advanced Image Stabilizer, Time-lapse recording, Motor Drive Shooting (nine megapixel stills up to 15fps) and Ultra-Slow Motion Playback by high speed recording (up to 600fps). It also offers the Auto Reocrd function that starts recording automatically when a person enters the picture.
The GZ-HM500 is also equipped with both an LED light and a flash for shooting in dark situations. It includes also face detection, seamless recording to 32GB internal memory and SD/SDHC cards. The JVC Everio GZ-HM550 is now available at Amazon for $719.96 (original priceL $799.99).
