It's been several weeks since I went to Maine, but the recent launch of LL Bean's Signature Collection has renewed my appreciation for the quaint mountain state. In fact, I sort of want to move to the coast of Maine, leaving behind all my existing wardrobe and replacing it with the entire Signature collection, from perfect striped shirtdresses and nubby fishermans sweaters, to weathered leather totes and tasseled ballet flats. The fact that Alex Carlton, formerly of Ralph Lauren and current owner of Rogues Gallery, serves as creative director for the collection makes it that much better.
Who knew Maine was so stylish?
Here are a few belated pictures from my trip, beginning with the obligatory snapshot of my black lab. Tiger didn't get to make the trek to visit my brother with us, and this was the sad puppy dog look he kept giving us as we were packing up to leave. Cutie.
