I remember a teacher dramatically sending me to the principal's office in sixth grade for wearing a skirt that was deemed too short. Although I embarrass easily, I continued to have run-ins with the principal throughout my education for the same offense. If colleges had dress codes, I would probably have really racked up the detentions by now.
I tell myself that because I am short I can pull off short. Whether this is true or not, I love minis. Mini minis. And as much as I also love Anthropologie, their dresses and skirts are usually too long (or, um, tasteful?) for me.These two, however, are perfect. Lace and polka dots and ruffles, oh my! Like my Liberty of London dress that went from dowdy to adorable with just a pair of sewing scissors, I could chop the bottom layer off and take this dress and skirt to... new heights.
