Timex launches the Iron Global Trainer GPS sport watches. Two versions are available, one with Heart Rate Monitor and the other without. Based on SiRFStar III GPS technology, Timex’s GPS watches quickly locks on to satellite signals to measure pace, speed and distance in real time. They can record up to 1000 GPS waypoints
The Ironman Global Trainer watches waterproof to 50 meters. They feature chronograph with interval and countdown timers and come with software for users to customize and manage watch settings. Timex Ironman Global Trainer is priced at $275 and the Heart Rate Monitor-equipped model costs $325.
