A Modern Day Annie Hall

Like many regions, Missouri has really beautiful, ever-changing seasons. Yesterday, for instance, the thermometer tipped 60; today, our low is looking at mid-20s. It's hard to keep the classic concept of a summer wardrobe versus a winter wardrobe separate. Inevitably, seasonal style barriers begin to break down until my closet has a whole lot of fall (plaid, corduroy, argyle), bits of spring and winter, and a touch of resort. A veritable melting pot of fashion.

While perusing vintage archives of Lucky's street snapshots, I came across a prime example of seasonless style. You might recognize her as Ginny Branch, charming blogger and Marc Jacobs shopgirl, but the magazine simply identifies her as a modern day Annie Hall.

Not only does Ginny manage to mix boyish (the buttondown) with ladylike (the cinched waist) with her signature touch of Alice in Wonderland (the hairbow), but she flawlessly transitions summer (the short sleeve, the mini) with winter (the tights, the thermal). Incredibly clever, indeed just like Annie Hall.
