teenfashion[week]ista: Wren

Melissa Coker was a writer for Vogue, W, and Details before creating Wren, a line of charmingly quirky clothes inspired by a doll dressmaking character in Charles Dickens' Our Mutual Friend.

Her fall presentation was an endearing mix of uptown (buffalo plaid, herringbone, saddle ox) and downtown (nerdy spectacles, sequins, bright tights). It's the kind of collection that makes a girl realize that summer is so overrated even before spring blows in.
