Searching for Cynthia Vincent's

wedges
One of the things I'll miss most (or, at least, a lot) about living in Missouri is my close proximity to Target's designer diffusion lines. There's my Proenza Schouler skirt, my Liberty of London bikini, my Anna Sui dress... too many finds to name, but my favorite purchase during my four years of snapping up Target's Go International lines the second they hit shelves is easily my Cynthia Vincent wedges.

They walked into my life during my spring semester of senior year, a time when I had more laughs and late nights with friends than ever before. And those shoes were a staple for three months straight, traipsing all around campus and my college's picturesque downtown.

Although I survived college graduation, my beloved Cynthia Vincent's did not, and I've been searching for a replacement since. I found these pretty leather wedges for half the price yesterday, but I'm still not entirely sure I should be spending $50 on shoes a few days before I move to the city and begin leading my life of frugality (shopping less, drinking Starbucks less, living off of peanut butter, etc.).

Are they worth it? Would you keep 'em?
